What does the buyer get?
An email with the PDF ticket and the Apple Wallet and Google Wallet buttons. The QR is the same everywhere: in the pass, the PDF, the ticket image and the My tickets page, which also lists what is left to use.
How does the same QR work at the bar?
Each drink bought is a line on the pass. At the bar staff scan the QR, pick the drinks to hand over and confirm, and the ones taken stay marked with the time. With Order more, guests buy more drinks from their phone and find them on the same QR: see drinks. The same code works at the cash desk.
What if a ticket goes to a friend?
On the ticket page, Send sends one or more items to another email. The friend accepts them with their account and finds them in their own pass, and they leave the sender's pass.
Questions
Do buyers have to download an app?
No. They buy in the browser and show the ticket from Apple Wallet, Google Wallet, the email or the PDF.
Does the pass in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet show how many drinks are left?
No, in the Wallet the pass shows the QR and the event's details. What is left to use is on the ticket page, under Your items.
Does a screenshot of the QR work?
Yes, the QR doesn't change. Each item works once: on a second scan the scanner shows it as already used.
Does the scanner work offline?
No. Without a connection the scanner doesn't redeem and shows No connection.
